We are Humankind Expeditions and we look forward to the opportunity to act as your tour operator. The following conditions describe your obligations as a customer when purchasing either an independent tour or a group tour through us. The terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Humankind Expeditions. The term “you” or “client” refers to the customer.
By booking with us, you agree to all the terms detailed in this document.
BOOKING POLICY
For the majority of our tours, a minimum of $950 USD deposit is due upon booking confirmation. The remaining balance must be paid in full 60 days prior to the trip start date (or in cash on the first day of the tour depending on the tour). This will be clearly detailed to you during the booking process.
CANCELLATION POLICY
All cancellation notices must be received in writing and will become effective as of the date of receipt by us.
Your deposit is non refundable, accept in a case of a ‘force majeure’ or a cancellation from our side (see below).
For the balance of your payment, we can provide you a refund (minus your deposit) up to 60 days before the trip begins should you have an emergency, an illness, or need to cancel. Anything closer than 60 days, unfortunately, we cannot refund you.
We highly recommend you take out travel insurance that covers trip cancellations, therefore if something should occur like you get Covid, you will get a full payout from your insurance company.
We can provide a tour cancellation confirmation letter so you are able to claim any losses with your travel insurance provider.
Please don’t hesitate to email us, should you have any questions about payment methods, payments schedule etc.
Please note:
Customer is liable for any transaction charges associated with the refund process.
In the event of us incurring non-refundable costs and expenses, including, but not limited to flight booking and hotel reservations this shall be deducted from any refund due to the customer.
